In December 2013 raumschaum installed its innovative cutting software on an industrial foam cutter for the department of Industrial Design at the Universität der Künste in Berlin. Subsequently, it was used by students in the context of the exercise Design Sprints of the project Styro Street. A short summary how one of the first objects is fabricated can be seen here:
The spatial software module for cutting arbitrary 3D objects provided in STL format with the StyroFoamRobot. It was developed right after completion of the project in 2007.
A software module to create and cut rotationally symmetric objects with the StyroFoamRobot in an easy and simple way. It was developed during the project in 2006 for testing purposes initially.
